To achieve and maintain WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance, we utilize a combination of third-party tools, manual audits, and automated scans. Our staff members who manage web content undergo required accessibility training and participate in ongoing education sessions to stay updated on digital accessibility best practices.

Reporting Digital Accessibility Concerns

If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have concerns regarding digital content, technology, or materials, please let us know by emailing accessibility@monarchuniversity.edu with the subject line "Accessibility Concern." Include a brief description of the issue or a recommendation for improvement.

Upon receipt of your email:

  1. A timely and impartial review of the concern will be conducted.
  2. If needed, relevant campus teams will collaborate to address the issue.
  3. An initial response will be provided within three (3) business days, along with effective communication of inaccessible content when applicable.

We strive to resolve reported barriers within seven (7) business days, either by remediation or other resolutions. Students or prospective students can also contact the Disability Services Office for inquiries about academic accommodations.
