Rooted in Service, Empowering Communities

At Monarch, our mission is deeply rooted in serving God by serving students, empowering them to make a difference in the world around them. Monarch graduates become leaders who enhance their workplaces and communities, addressing real-world issues and creating lasting change.

Faculty at Monarch are dedicated to researching urgent societal challenges, working directly with community members to propose solutions. Students build authentic relationships through collaborative learning, contributing to sustainable impact in local and global communities.

Learning through Service

Each year, Monarch students, faculty, and staff dedicate countless hours to volunteering in communities, partnering with residents, organizations, and businesses to address issues in health, education, economic development, and more. Whether through hands-on experience or community-based projects, every academic program at Monarch offers opportunities to engage with and serve others.

Accessible Education, Impactful Service

Our commitment to creating positive social impact is reflected in our focus on accessibility. Monarch strives to make education available to a diverse range of students, including those from underrepresented backgrounds and first-generation college students. By providing the resources and support needed to succeed, we ensure that every student can make the most of their Monarch education and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Their lived experiences should be central to the policies that impact their lives, and my research is focused on ensuring they are represented in the conversation."
