Apply for Financial Aid

To apply for financial aid at Monarch University, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA determines your eligibility for federal grants, work-study programs, and loans. Many states and colleges also use FAFSA information to award their own financial aid packages.

Types of Financial Aid

Financial aid encompasses scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study programs, each designed to assist with educational expenses. Scholarships and grants are typically need-based or merit-based and generally do not require repayment. Loans must be repaid with interest. Work-study programs provide part-time employment to earn money for education costs.

Affordability

When you apply for admission, you're automatically considered for first-year or transfer academic scholarships. Check out our net price calculator for a tuition estimate. The average financial aid package for first-time full-time freshmen with financial need is $28,599. Eligible students may also qualify for DU's PA State Matching Grant.
