Students who have not enrolled for two consecutive semesters (excluding summer) may apply for readmission.

Application Dates & Deadlines 

  • Early Action: November 15 
  • Physician Assistant Studies: November 15. Select the Early Action option on the application. The application review committee will begin reviewing applications for this program after the deadline.
  • Regular Decision: January 15

Applicant Portal

Once you submit your application, you'll gain access to your admissions portal, where you'll find a checklist of any additional materials that may be required. (You will receive an email from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions with your login details within two business days.)

The checklist may include transcripts, letters of recommendation, and standardized test scores (or you can learn more about test-optional admission).

Recommendations

One recommendation from a teacher or counselor is required for applicants to health professions and nursing programs. Recommendations are optional for applicants to other programs. If a recommendation is required for your program, it will appear in your portal checklist.

Recommendations can be mailed to the Office of Admissions at recommendationsFREERoyal.

Financial Aid

Submit your FAFSA and any relevant state grant applications. Royal University's school code is 003258. Be sure to list Royal University as your top choice for the PA State Grant if you are a resident. Learn more about our PA State Grant match.

Transfer students should update their applications with Royal University's school code.

Scholarships

You are automatically considered for academic scholarships based on your test scores and/or high school grades when you apply for admission. Start planning ahead by reviewing the ranges for first-year scholarships or transfer scholarships and explore our Net Price Calculator.
